A Message From:
Beau Anderson - NPGA President
Thank you for coming to visit the Northern Pulse Growers Association website. Please take some time to look around and tour. This organization is critical in providing local, regional, and national information to registered growers as well as the general public seeking more information about our products. I say, "Our products," because we are raising a nutrient dense food product that is readily available to the consumer as soon as it leaves the field.
Pulse crops can be consumed as a whole, or as part of a processed food. Either way, these crops provide necessary nutrients for the benefit of the consumer in a reasonably priced manner when compared to other sources of protein.
I am proud to say that the Northern Pulse Growers Association is funded through the North Dakota and Montana pulse crop check off dollars, and the programming, research, and legislative efforts that come from these dollars are focused on supporting the industry first at home in Montana and North Dakota, and second on the national stage.
Feel free to contact the NPGA staff about any questions you may have, or about current programs offered through the NPGA. Or, get involved! We are always looking for new grower board members and associate directors. You won't be disappointed!
