Jeremy Huether

Huether, elected in 2016 is currently serving his first term on the North Dakota Dry Pea & Lentil Council, representing pulse producers in the southwest region of North Dakota. Huether also serves on Farm Credit Services of Mandan Committee since 2012, Hettinger Research Center Advisory Board since 2013 and Vice Chairman of his local parish, Zora Congregational Church since 2008.
Huether is a 4th generation farmer and currently farms with his father, Burnell and brother Nathan. They farm 20 miles south of Mott, ND with the primary pulse crop being yellow peas and chickpeas, along with spring wheat, canola, corn, flax and soybeans. Huether has been planting pulse crops since 2000. In Huether’s spare time his likes to spend time at the family lake cabin in the summer and snow skiing in the winter.
