Benefits of Belonging The Northern Pulse Growers Association is committed to representing the interests of growers and contributing to their profitability through marketing, research, government affairs and education. The NPGA targets activities on both the regional and national levels for enhancement of the entire pulse industry.
Activities of the Northern Pulse Growers Association are directed by a board of 12 growers representing both Montana and North Dakota. As a member of the NPGA you will receive:
Current Industry News/Information The regions pulse industry publication, Pulse News provides updates on activities of the Association, industry, domestic and international markets
Up-to-the-minute Updates Members can subscribe to receive via email up-to-the-minute PL 480 announcements and market developments as they occur.
Advocacy The Northern Pulse Growers Association represents growers interests in both Montana and North Dakota as well as on the national level by providing a unified voice on a wide range of issues including farm program policy, disaster legislation, crop insurance and market related issues.
Education NPGA hosts an annual convention in Minot as well as a producer meeting in Montana and tours.
