Building Connections, Strengthening Agriculture

Collaboration has always been at the core of Northern Pulse Growers Association’s mission. Bringing growers, researchers and industry partners together creates stronger relationships, better conversations and new opportunities for the producers we represent.

NPGA recently joined agricultural leaders from the U.S. and Canada for a cross-border leadership discussion in Fargo. The meeting brought together representatives from Manitoba Pulse & Soybean Growers, North Dakota Soybean Growers Association, Northarvest Bean Growers Association, North Dakota State University and NPGA to discuss shared priorities and opportunities for collaboration.

Agriculture doesn’t stop at the border. Producers across our region face many of the same opportunities and challenges—from trade and market development to research, innovation and producer profitability. Having grower organizations, researchers and industry leaders at the same table allows us to share perspectives, identify common priorities and strengthen relationships across commodities and borders.

For NPGA, these conversations reflect something that has long been central to our work: bringing people together, building partnerships and ensuring pulse growers have a voice at the table.
