Poster Session & Social — January 26 at 5:00 PM (Sunrise Room)

The 2026 NPGA Annual Convention opens with a Poster Session & Social designed to showcase the breadth of pulse crop research conducted over the past year. Posters presented by NDSU students and researchers offer growers and industry professionals a clear, accessible look at current research projects, findings, and ongoing studies — in a relaxed setting with food and drinks.

A Strong Speaker Lineup for 2026

The convention program will continue with a strong lineup of speakers addressing timely topics relevant to the pulse industry. Keynote speaker Shaun Haney will headline the event, bringing industry insight and perspective to the broader conversation.

  • Andrew Pritchard, meteorologist, will provide analysis of weather patterns and trends affecting agriculture.
  • Dr. Franke Crutcher, plant pathologist, will share expertise on plant health, disease management, and research-backed approaches to protecting crop yields.

Building on the momentum of recent events — including a 2025 Convention that drew more than 100 attendees and a Great Falls workshop that also exceeded 100 participants — interest in the 2026 Annual Convention continues to grow. With strong attendance expected once again, the convention offers a valuable opportunity for growers, researchers, and industry partners to stay informed, engaged, and connected.
