We’re breaking down barriers to make it easier than ever to access knowledge, resources, and support in the pulse community. Starting in 2025, membership for producers is completely free! That’s right—pulse growers can now join the NPGA at no cost. This is a special opportunity to connect, learn, and grow with industry leaders without any membership fees.

Industry memberships will still apply to our agribusiness partners and other industry stakeholders. We continue to charge these fees because their contributions help fund key initiatives that support both producers and the broader pulse industry, such as advocacy efforts, research, and marketing programs. These memberships ensure that all sectors of the pulse industry remain engaged and invested in moving the industry forward.

The NPGA is committed to representing its members by:

• Funding disease & production research, breeding improvement, crop insurance, and producer education meetings.
• Advocating for pulse producers & the industry through our Congressional representatives, agency officials, and government entities.
• Supporting marketing initiatives to establish strong food and feed markets for the region’s pulse crops.
• Improving resources to help producers manage agronomic issues, technology tools, and market updates.

The core of the Northern Pulse Growers Association (NPGA) is our membership—producers and agribusiness partners working together with a common goal of improving the profitability of North Dakota and Montana pulse growers.
