Gary Steier represents pulse growers in the southwest region of North Dakota, and was elected to the NPGA Board of Directors in 2022. Steier is a 4th generation farmer and has grown field peas and garbanzos since 2008.  Prior to farming, Gary worked at the local Case IH dealership for 25 years.

Gary and his wife Brenda have four grown children, and nine grandchildren. His agriculture background and knowledge of the pulse industry will be a great addition to the NPGA Board and we look forward to hearing his new ideas!  Welcome, Gary!
